Norrie Davidson


Norrie has over 25 years of experience in IT and Business Management.  She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Third Octet, a company that delivers technology solutions collaboratively, cost-effectively and simply to achieve work life balance.  Prior to Third Octet she was the CEO of WW Works, a small IT managed service provider.  Norrie was also the SVP, Global IT Operations and Shared Services for Travelex.  Travelex is the world’s largest non-bank foreign exchange company delivering foreign exchange services through a vast retail global network and through many customer facing online systems.  Norrie was responsible for a team of over 180 people located across the world in Europe, India, Asia and North America.  She has been actively involved in a number of mergers and acquisitions, PCI guideline implementations globally, infrastructure and technology strategy, cloud system deployments, human resource initiatives, risk management and program management process initiatives.  Prior to Travelex, Norrie was the Director, Information Technology for one of the top law firms, McMillan, in Canada.

Norrie is very involved with diversity programs in Technology and has been a panelist for Women in the IT Channel workshops.  She has spoken at many international technology conferences.  She is also on the Board of Directors of the Children’s Aid Foundation of Halton, acts as Chair of the Governance Committee and Vice President on the Executive for the Board.

When not volunteering her time or busy with technology and business initiatives, Norrie can be found on the golf course as much as possible.  She loves to travel and chat with her three young adult sons.
