In 2018, we were ecstatic to achieve Microsoft Gold status by attaining Cloud Platform competency and demonstrating our ability to guide customers through infrastructure modernization with Microsoft Azure. Today, we’re pleased to announce an extension to our existing Microsoft expertise with a second Gold competency, Cloud Productivity, highlighting the massive transformation we’ve provided clients not only in Microsoft Azure but, now, in Microsoft 365 as well.
At Third Octet, we believe successful businesses are built on happy, engaged, and collaborative employees – employees who are able to focus on high-value and deeply meaningful work. Our technology solutions focus on removing physical place and technology as a barrier to productivity and engagement, allowing employees to work when, where, and however they choose, minimizing “time to productive”, and allowing for a personalized definition of their own work-life balance. This is how we better the world through technology, and Microsoft 365 serves as an instrumental component of our strategy.
“Our expertise in Microsoft was always present, and served a natural compliment to our existing practice areas. Chasing accreditation was never the objective, it was always about serving the needs of our clients around digital workspaces, cloud, and collaboration. Microsoft Azure and 365 were always the resounding preference and we made sure we could deliver beyond expectations when asked. Being recognized with these competencies is surely a great achievement; however, and more importantly, it validates our ability to deliver on what businesses are asking for,” said Matthew Metelsky, CEO for Third Octet.
Achieving Gold Cloud Productivity competency, or any competency for that matter, is not simply of task of passing exams and certification. Competencies require customer validation through real world deployments and, at the Gold level, these requirements can be difficult to obtain, especially for an organization as “nimble” as ours.
Gavriella Schuster, corporate vice president, One Commercial Partner (OCP) at Microsoft stated “By achieving a Gold competency, partners have demonstrated the highest, most consistent capability and commitment to the latest Microsoft technology. These partners have a deep expertise that puts them in the top of our partner ecosystem, and their proficiency will help customers drive innovative solutions.”
“With over 14,000 active Microsoft 365 entitlements, we certainly wear this badge with pride and are excited to continue our success in Azure and Microsoft 365 adoption,” said Joe Peckford, Director of Client Services.
