Citrix Innovation Award Finalist

Every year, the Citrix Innovation Award for Partners honors exceptional achievements of Citrix global partners who use their technology to break new ground, solve unprecedented problems and uplift their communities with Citrix solutions. We’re honored to announce that Third Octet is among the three finalists in this competition for our exceptional work helping the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM) not only survive the changes but also reimagine learning and discover a new competitive edge.

When schools began closing during COVID-19, UTM faced a big challenge: they had three months to move all the campus’s lab classes to a remote environment—without sacrificing user experience and meeting the diverse needs of students, faculty and staff.

Leveraging Citrix Cloud allowed students to have access to lab resources from anywhere using Citrix Remote PC. The ease-of-use helped minimize the burden on IT staff and opened up other areas where they could streamline. In a year of lockdowns and disruptions, we were thrilled to partner with Citrix to provide a seamless, always-on experience that kept students to stay connected regardless of location or device.

“Third Octet has done an outstanding job addressing the critical task of supporting our joint customers and helping them reimagine work during this time of rapid change. Their solution for UTM was not only innovative, but also improved the experience of their students and faculty last year,” Mike Fouts said, Citrix Vice President for the Americas region.

Voting is now over!
